Addison Formally Sentenced to DeathBy Ellen Grimm on Monday, December 22, 2008.Michael Addison is now officially the first person sentenced to death in New Hampshire in nearly 50 years. Judge Kathleen McGuire delivered the jury's verdict today. But before she did, Officer Michael Briggs's family got the chance to address Addison personally for the first time since the trial began.
