What Are Your Must-Read Blogs?

By Avishay Artsy on Monday, August 24, 2009.

Here at Word of Mouth, we spend a lot of time reading our favorite blogs, and we're always discovering new ones. We rely on them to keep us informed on the latest ideas, trends, research and discoveries. The best ones are a pleasure to read and feel like a much-needed guiding hand through the sometimes overwhelming volume of information available online.

In recent weeks we've caught up with Robin Sloan of Snarkmarket to talk about the new liberal arts, and Tyler Cowen of Marginal Revolution about how the Internet might be making us think more like people with autism.

We've also talked to Béatrice Peltre of the beautifully-photographed La Tartine Gourmande about blogging from the kitchen, Bryan White of the horror-film themed Cinema Suicide about crowdsourced zombie films, and Julie Zeilinger of The F-Bomb about being a teen feminist blogger.

Coming up on the show, we'll be talking to more of the bloggers we love, like David Gutowski of the music and fiction-oriented Largehearted Boy, and Geoff Manaugh of the brilliant architecture site BLDGBLOG.

You tell us: which blogs should we be reading? And which bloggers would you like to hear interviewed on the show? Please leave your suggestions below!
