Inner City Teens Take On Business World

New Hampshire is teeming with farmers’ markets this summer. In parking lots and town squares, farmers haul in their bins of green beans and tomatoes and spend the day selling.

But in Syracuse, New York you’re just as likely to find an inner city teen weighing and bagging your fresh produce. The Urban Delights project uses farm stands to teach at-risk kids how to run a business. They set prices, interact with customers, and supervise each other, all while providing the community with farm fresh food. WRVO's Jasmyn Belcher brings us the story.
