Parker-Pope gets her information at SmartMoney.com, which based its research on trips to three stores in New York City, not the cheapest place to shop. According to GreenerChoices.org, organic items usually cost about 40% more than non-organic nationwide. I'm 35 and have had cancer for the last 8 years. Cancer has not made me a lola granola, but I do try to eat organic meat.
