Today on Word of Mouth, we’ve dreamed about it for decades, and now it might finally be here. Flying cars. Seriously! We’ll hear about the Pentagon’s "Personal Air Vehicle Technology" project. And, have you heard from your toaster oven or rerigerator lately? In Japan, vending machines and ticket dispensers talk to you. Plus, high school students are facing a shrinking job market and a deepening credit crunch, making it harder to secure student loans. We’ll find out what their options are. And we’ll speak with poet and activist Juan Felipe Herrera. The son of migrant farm workers, he’s chronicled the Mexican-American experience for over three decades.
