Horn Says It's Time To "Come Together" After 2nd District Campaign
By Sheryl Rich-Kern on Tuesday, November 4, 2008.
Republican Jennifer Horn, a political newcomer, challenged incumbent Paul Hodes in the second congressional district.
Jennifer Horn gives her concession speech in Nashua. (Frank Prince, NHPR) Horn lost by a wide margin. Regardless of the results, Horn says she remains committed to public service. "I really think that we're facing days in our nation where we need to come together. We need to work together toward solving the problems we face and start to move our nation forward again. And any opportunity I have to be part of that, obviously, I'll be very interested in." Horn is a former columnist for the Nashua Telegraph, and also hosted a local talk show. She did not say whether she plans to run for office again. More From NHPR Post a comment
