On the fifth anniversary of the September eleventh attacks, we reflect back on what you remember about that day in 2001, where you were, what you were doing...and if you had family or friends directly involved. What If...?

By Liz Bulkley on Monday, September 11, 2006.

Tonight on the Front Porch, we're exploring Counterfactual Theory. It's the study of "What If...". We'll find out more about the somewhat controversial field and how it can apply to the September Eleventh attacks five years ago.

Our guest is Richard Ned Lebow, Professor of Government at Dartmouth College. He's author of Unmaking the West: "What-If" Scenarios that Rewrite World History.
