Funding Education with a Gross Receipts Tax

State Representative Andy Peterson has a proposal
he says will solve New Hampshire's education funding problem. He's proposing a business tax of 1% on gross receipts. The tax will be on sales and services a business provides. Laura talks with Rep. Andy Peterson, a Republican from Peterboro (www.andrewpeterson.org)

Courtney Haase. After 16 years as a Franciscan nun in New Orleans, Courtney moved to New Hampshire in search of a new vocation. She now runs a small dairy and makes Nunsuch, an award-winning goat cheese. Courtney also founded the Small Dairy Project, on organization that helps other small dairy operators get started.
