A sales tax is one of the options on the table to help pay for schools. A House proposal for a 3% tax would raise about half the money needed. But retailers, and some economists, worry that any sales tax would put a large hole in the NH economy.

"Under the Bridge" is a collection of poems and stories from homeless people in Manchester. The 3-year long effort to produce the book became both a way for the homeless to find an inner strength and a forum that challenged our ideas of who is homeless.
